Functional Interpretations of Intuitionistic Linear Logic
نویسندگان
چکیده
We present three functional interpretations of intuitionistic linear logic and show how these correspond to well-known functional interpretations of intuitionistic logic via embeddings of IL into ILL. The main difference from previous work of the second author is that in intuitionistic linear logic the interpretations of !A are simpler (at the cost of an asymmetric interpretation of pure ILL) and simultaneous quantifiers are no longer needed for the characterisation of the interpretations.

Hybrid Functional Interpretations of Linear and Intuitionistic Logic
This article shows how different functional interpretations can be combined into what we term hybrid functional interpretations. These hybrid interpretations work on the setting of a multi-modal linear logic. Functional interpretations of intuitionistic logic can be combined via Girard’s embedding of intuitionistic logic into linear logic. We first show how to combine the usual Kreisel’s modifi...
متن کاملOn bounded functional interpretations
A unified view over well-known interpretations of intuitionistic logic, such as Gödel’s dialectica interpretation [6], Diller-Nahm interpretation [1] and Kreisel’s modified realizability [7] was achieved through a parametrised interpretation in the intuitionistic logic context [8] but also, very elegantly, in the linear logic setting (see [10], [9] and [3]). In this talk we report on work in pr...
متن کاملComputational Interpretations of Classical Linear Logic
We survey several computational interpretations of classical linear logic based on two-player one-move games. The moves of the games are higherorder functionals in the language of finite types. All interpretations discussed treat the exponential-free fragment of linear logic in a common way. They only differ in how much advantage one of the players has in the exponentials games. We discuss how ...
متن کاملThe Girard Translation Extended with Recursion
This paper extends Curry-Howard interpretations of Intuitionistic Logic (IL) and Intuitionistic Linear Logic (ILL) with rules for recursion. The resulting term languages, the λ-calculus and the linear λ-calculus respectively, are given sound categorical interpretations. The embedding of proofs of IL into proofs of ILL given by the Girard Translation is extended with the rules for recursion, suc...
متن کاملProof interpretations with truth
This article systematically investigates so-called “truth variants” of several functional interpretations. We start by showing a close relation between two variants of modified realizability, namely modified realizability with truth and q-modified realizability. Both variants are shown to be derived from a single “functional interpretation with truth” of intuitionistic linear logic. This analys...
